Improving your smile

From preventative dental care and oral hygiene to dental implants, teeth straightening and specialist gum treatment, our commitment is to help you achieve good, healthy teeth for life. We let you know what choices are available and develop a treatment plan tailored to you.

Our dentists are highly experienced and offer all aspects of dental care, to include:

Cosmetic – crowns, bridges & veneers

Crowns are an ideal way to rebuild teeth which have been broken, or have been weakened by decay or a very large filling. The crown fits right over the remaining part of the tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape and contour of a natural tooth.

A dental bridge is so called because it “bridges” the gap where a tooth has fallen out or been extracted. A replacement tooth is fixed to the natural teeth at either or both sides of the gap giving you such a comfortable, natural look, that you forget you have missing teeth. With good hygiene, a bridge is long-lasting and with careful colour-matching can provide you with an excellent finish for your teeth.

For an impressive smile makeover, a veneer is an extremely thin covering of porcelain or white filling material that is bonded to the front of a tooth. Fitting veneers is a straightforward process and very little preparation of the natural tooth is needed, unlike crowns.

Root canal treatment – saving teeth

Root canal treatment (Endodontics) is needed when the nerve supply of the tooth becomes infected through decay or injury. This can result in an abscess.

The purpose of root canal treatment is to remove all infection from the root canal and clean and fill the root to prevent further infection. This treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic and generally takes a little longer than a standard filling, often done over 2 visits.

Dentures – like natural teeth

With modern techniques, dentures can be indistinguishable from natural teeth.  We offer several options, including full and partial dentures.

Once you have the smile you always wanted, we help you to maintain this with ongoing care from our dentists and hygienist.
